Tender & Bid Officer Internship

About the role

Paradigm Energy, a renewable energy company focused on solar power solutions, offers an on-site Tender & Bid Officer internship in the Karachi Division. The intern supports the preparation of tender and bid documents, from gathering technical and commercial information to formatting proposals and ensuring compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Gather technical and commercial information and format proposals
• Coordinate with sales, engineering and finance teams to collect the data needed for bids
• Maintain tender tracking sheets and documentation repositories
• Assist in reviewing tender specifications and contract terms
• Conduct basic market and competitor research
• Help prepare cost estimates under supervision
• Contribute to the timely submission of complete and accurate bid packages
• Learn and follow internal procedures, support process improvements and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or a related field
• Ability to analyze tender documents, interpret requirements and work accurately
• Strong written communication skills for drafting and reviewing proposals and supporting documents
• Solid organizational and time-management skills to meet strict submission deadlines
• Capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow established processes
• Interest in renewable energy and willingness to learn about solar solutions, project costing and industry standards
• Previous internship or academic project experience in procurement, sales support or tendering is an advantage but not required

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Document creation, data handling and report writing
