Unit Head Collections and Recovery

About the role

The Bank of Punjab is seeking a Unit Head for Collections and Recovery within its Digital Banking Group. This senior position leads the nationwide tele‑collection team, driving strategies to control delinquency and non‑performing loans.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the collections tele team across the country, monitoring daily performance and monthly targets.
• Develop and implement tele‑collection strategies for all delinquency buckets, improving payment‑to‑promise conversion and reducing roll‑forward rates.
• Lead team leaders and tele‑collection officers, handling manpower planning, rostering, performance management and staff retention.
• Analyze portfolio data, bucket movements, vintage trends and promise‑kept rates to refine calling strategies.
• Ensure compliance with collection policies, regulatory guidelines and maintain discipline on the tele‑floor.
• Coordinate with Field Collections, Recovery, Legal, Risk, IT and support functions for seamless operations.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• At least 9 years of relevant banking or non‑banking experience.
• Age up to 55 years as of the application deadline.
