Unit Head HR Analytics (AVP) - Banking

About the role

National Bank of Pakistan, a leading bank in Pakistan, is looking for a Unit Head HR Analytics (AVP) based in Karachi, reporting to the Wing Head HR Analytics. The role develops and maintains Power BI dashboards, analytical reports and management information systems for the HR Business Partner division, and covers recruitment analytics and HR reporting automation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, analytical reports and MIS for the HR Business Partner division
• Automate recurring HR reports and streamline data collection, consolidation, validation and reporting
• Prepare periodic analytical reports, executive summaries and presentations on workforce trends, risks, gaps and recommendations
• Identify gaps between approved positions and actual deployment and support manpower optimization
• Monitor recruitment performance (time-to-fill, requisition ageing, hiring conversion, vacancy ageing) and give HRBPs recruitment pipeline insights
• Ensure confidentiality and access controls on employee information in line with bank policy
• Coordinate with IT and HR system owners to improve data availability, integration and reporting efficiency
• Support recruitment trackers and digital reporting solutions, and perform other assignments as assigned

Required profile

• Minimum graduation or equivalent from a university or college recognized by the HEC of Pakistan; relevant certifications preferred
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics and/or MIS
• Experience with Power BI dashboards, data integration, validation, reconciliation and automation is preferred
• Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, MS BI (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS) and DAX preferred

• SQL and database querying
• SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps and reporting automation
• Communication, presentation and analytical storytelling skills
