Upwork Bidder – Client Support Representative

About the role

Sparking Asia is seeking a motivated Upwork Bidder to drive new client acquisition on the Upwork platform. You will be the first point of contact with prospective clients, crafting tailored proposals and managing communications to secure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Search Upwork daily for jobs that match the company’s services and write personalized, persuasive proposals.
• Manage Connects efficiently, maintain a high proposal‑to‑response ratio, and track bids, responses, interviews, and conversions.
• Respond promptly to client messages, engage via chat or calls to clarify requirements, and coordinate with technical and project teams on scope, pricing, and timelines.
• Maintain and optimize Sparking Asia’s Upwork profile and portfolio, and follow up with leads to close deals.

Required profile

• Strong written and spoken English with professional communication skills.
• Fast, accurate typing and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to meet daily bidding targets in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional home‑office setup.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Upwork (bidding process, Connects, profile optimization, Job Success Score).
• Persuasive writing and basic sales techniques.
• Experience with CRM or tracking tools such as Google Sheets or Trello.
