Vice President, Technical

About the role

The Vice President – Technical will lead end‑to‑end technical and manufacturing strategy for a major Food & Beverage organization in Pakistan. This executive position is responsible for driving operational excellence, modernization and sustainability across multiple production sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term technical and manufacturing strategy aligned with growth, profitability and sustainability goals.
• Lead multi‑site manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, reliable and cost‑effective production.
• Drive operational excellence through productivity improvement, asset optimization, cost reduction and lean manufacturing practices.
• Oversee major CAPEX projects from feasibility to commissioning, delivering ROI and timely execution.
• Accelerate digital transformation using automation, AI, IoT, robotics and predictive maintenance.
• Ensure world‑class quality, food safety, occupational health and environmental compliance.
• Build and lead a high‑performing technical organization with strong succession planning and capability development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial or related); Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of leadership experience in technical, engineering, manufacturing or supply‑chain functions within large FMCG or food manufacturing firms.
• Proven success managing large‑scale, multi‑site operations and delivering operational transformation.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with focus on productivity, cost optimisation and ROA improvement.
