Virtual Patient Care Coordinator (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Virtual Patient Care Coordinator to join our remote team and support dental and medical offices in the US, UK and Canada. The role requires a live video presence throughout the shift to coordinate with on‑site staff and patients in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a continuous live video connection to collaborate with office staff and manage patient interactions.
• Handle inbound calls, emails and Nexhealth messages, routing them to the appropriate team members.
• Remind patients of upcoming appointments, verify insurance benefits and complete dental breakdown sheets.
• Enter and update patient records, activate new accounts, and manage demographic and insurance information in the EHR system.
• Optimize scheduling, confirm appointments, and manage recall calls to maximize hygiene time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; additional healthcare administration education is a plus.
• 2–3 years of experience as a virtual assistant for dental or medical offices serving US, UK or Canadian clients.
• Excellent US English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scheduling software and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Working knowledge of Dentrix and Nexhealth (strongly preferred).
• High level of computer proficiency.

• Full‑time remote position with a competitive salary of 100 k–120 k PKR per month.
