Wing Head - Process & Documentation Improvement (VP/SVP)

About the role

The National Bank of Pakistan seeks a senior professional to lead continuous improvement of credit administration processes, documentation and controls. Reporting to the Divisional Head of Credit Administration, the role focuses on redesigning workflows, enhancing SOPs and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a framework for ongoing improvement of credit administration processes and documentation.
• Review existing workflows, SOPs, manuals and checklists to identify inefficiencies, gaps and control weaknesses.
• Lead process re‑engineering initiatives to improve operational efficiency, turnaround time and service quality.
• Maintain governance standards, version control and a repository for all approved process documents.
• Collaborate with Credit & Risk Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit and Technology teams on process and documentation matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of banking experience, with at least 5 years in Credit Administration (Corporate, Commercial, SME, Retail or Islamic Banking).
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end credit lifecycle, documentation, approvals, disbursement and collateral monitoring.
• Ability to map processes, identify gaps and redesign workflows.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, SBP PRs and SECP requirements.
