About the role

ACE Properties is seeking an Internal Auditor to evaluate and strengthen the effectiveness of its internal control systems across its real‑estate projects. The role focuses on risk‑based audits, identifying control gaps, and recommending cost‑saving measures while supporting a robust risk culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document audit observations with clear analysis and professional judgment.
• Design and maintain audit checklists for various departments to ensure consistency.
• Execute risk‑based internal audits, assess control design and operational effectiveness, and identify improvement areas.
• Conduct audit inquiries, procedural walkthroughs, and data analysis to gather evidence.
• Create and maintain detailed working papers and annexures to support audit findings.
• Identify control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and potential risks, proposing mitigation strategies and cost‑saving measures.
• Perform on‑site audits to verify compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with audit leadership to synthesize findings into concise reports and present recommendations.
• Review departmental SOPs to uncover control gaps.
• Prepare formal data‑request communications and monitor follow‑up on audit recommendations.

Required profile

• Capability to communicate findings clearly to management.
