Accounting Manager

About the role

Spice Arena, a well-established restaurant on Main Ferozepur Road in Lahore, is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee its financial and accounting operations. The manager leads a team of 8 people, supervises vendor management and ensures accurate accounting and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare, analyse and monitor financial reports such as profit and loss statements.
• Supervise and guide a team of 8 staff members, promoting productivity, accuracy and professional development.
• Maintain inventory control and warehouse management systems to optimise stock levels and reduce waste.
• Oversee point-of-sale systems and their integration with inventory and financial data.
• Monitor costs to identify savings opportunities and improve budget management.
• Coordinate vendor management, including procurement, payment processing and contract management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, keeping records accurate and confidential.
• Work with store management to align financial goals with operational objectives and improve profitability.
• Develop procedures for financial operations and risk management, and train team members in financial and store management systems.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in financial management and accounting.
• Practical experience in store management and inventory control.
• Analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to handle financial documentation such as profit and loss statements.
