Procurement Specialist

About the role

Yadea Pakistan is hiring a Procurement Specialist in Lahore to support manufacturing and project procurement. The role covers material sourcing, quotation management, purchase order processing, supplier coordination, delivery follow-ups and cost optimisation, ensuring timely and efficient material availability.

Key responsibilities

• Source materials, obtain quotations, evaluate supplier offers and issue purchase orders according to production and project requirements.
• Monitor supplier deliveries, order quantities and material quality, and resolve delivery delays, shortages and other supply issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase prices, supplier lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs) and supplier master data.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Quality and Finance teams on material receiving, verification, documentation and payment processing.
• Support local sourcing, cost-reduction efforts and the development of alternative suppliers to improve supply reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and respond to urgent material shortages.
• Proficiency in English and Urdu; Chinese is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good understanding of procurement processes, ERP systems and supplier delivery management.
• Basic cost analysis and supplier negotiation skills.
