Demand Planning Specialist

About the role

foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Demand Planning Specialist in Lahore. The role covers weekly and monthly supply planning, inventory control and S&OP coordination for the category group, with close collaboration with the demand planning specialist.

Key responsibilities

• Create weekly replenishment plans per supplier based on inventory parameters, actual sell-out and planned forecasts
• Take part in S&OP forecast meetings and prepare supply plans from the demand forecast
• Prepare and update monthly and weekly supply planning files and KPI reports based on actuals
• Maintain healthy inventory in DC and stores based on target days cover
• Work with the demand planning specialist to adjust the plan, monitor supplier issues and escalate them to ensure availability
• Identify slow-moving SKUs and those with no movement for 28 days, and flag them to stakeholders
• Work with the inventory controller on balancing stocks across warehouses
• Own the category group, including ordering and availability issues within S&OP
• Work cross-functionally on projects and other relevant tasks

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics or a related field
• 2-3 years of work experience in demand or supply planning
• Analytical mind, detail-oriented, with good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a demanding, ambiguous environment with strong organization
• Continuous improvement mindset

Required skills

• Processing information in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• FMCG/grocery retail and online marketplace/e-commerce demand planning experience is a plus
