Associate, Demand Planning

About the role

foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring an Associate, Demand Planning in Lahore. The role covers creating replenishment plans, adjusting forecasts through S&OP meetings, preparing supply plans and keeping inventory healthy across DCs and stores.

Key responsibilities

• Create daily and weekly replenishment plans per supplier based on inventory parameters, actual sell-out and planned forecast.
• Take part in S&OP forecast meetings and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Prepare supply plans from the demand forecast and maintain monthly and weekly supply planning files and KPI reports.
• Maintain healthy inventory in DCs and stores according to target days cover, availability and shrinkage targets.
• Work closely with the commercial team to adjust the forecast plan and coordinate with suppliers on delivery alignment and fulfillment performance.
• Monitor supplier issues and escalate them to ensure availability.
• Identify slow-moving SKUs and those with no movement for 28 days, and flag them to stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally on projects and other relevant tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of work-related experience in demand or supply planning.
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers or with online marketplaces/e-commerce is a plus.
• Analytical mind, detail orientation, good communication and presentation skills, and ability to work autonomously in a demanding environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup) and SQL.
• Ability to handle large amounts of data and find patterns and trends.
