Accountant

About the role

Graphix Labels & Packaging, a Pakistan-based provider of garment branding and packaging solutions, is looking for an Accountant to support accurate financial records and reliable reporting for its Sialkot operations. This is an on-site, full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain organized accounting ledgers.
• Prepare and review invoices, payment records, receipts and expense documentation.
• Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts and supplier balances, investigating discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable and receivable, cash-flow tracking and timely payment processing.
• Assist with month-end closing, financial statements, budgets and management reports.
• Maintain documentation for tax filings, audits and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales and operations teams to verify records and resolve queries.
• Help improve accounting controls and keep records confidential.

Required profile

• Practical knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance and core accounting principles.
• Experience preparing and processing invoices, vouchers, expense claims and payment records.
• Ability to reconcile banks, customers and suppliers accurately.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end closing.
• Familiarity with Pakistan tax and statutory documentation is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets, especially Microsoft Excel, and accounting software or ERP systems.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies.
• Clear communication and coordination with internal teams and vendors.
