Accounts Intern

About the role

Harvest Bread, a Lahore-based food manufacturing company producing bread, buns, rusks, cakes, biscuits and other baked goods, is looking for an Accounts Intern. The role supports day-to-day finance activities and gives practical exposure to accounting in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recording and organizing invoices, receipts, vouchers and other financial documents.
• Support data entry and maintain accurate accounting records under the guidance of the finance team.
• Help reconcile transaction details and flag missing or inconsistent documentation for review.
• Assist in preparing routine reports, schedules and summaries for internal use.
• Support accounts payable and receivable tasks, including filing and document tracking.
• Maintain orderly digital and physical finance records while following company procedures and confidentiality requirements.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to obtain supporting documents and complete finance tasks on time.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping and financial documentation.
• Analytical approach to checking figures and spotting incomplete or inconsistent information.
• Clear written and verbal communication, a professional approach to teamwork and good time management.
• Discretion with confidential financial information and willingness to learn from feedback.

Required skills

• Careful data entry with strong attention to numerical accuracy.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, sorting and basic formulas.
• Ability to organize invoices, receipts, vouchers and records systematically.
