Accounts Receivable Manager

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Manager is fully accountable for managing and optimizing the global AR function to ensure timely cash collections, accurate reporting and compliance with international standards. The role safeguards company cash flow, minimizes credit risk and supports revenue growth across multiple regions. It is based in Islamabad, Pakistan, on site.

Key responsibilities

• Own AR processes across all geographies, aligning them with global policies and best practices, and enforce credit policies to minimize exposure.
• Ensure timely and accurate collection of receivables, including engaging external collection agencies when needed, and drive strategies to reduce overdue balances.
• Work with Sales and Service Delivery teams to provide accurate revenue forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Ensure adherence to IFRS/GAAP and local regulations, maintain strong internal controls and deliver AR reports (month-end revenue closing, aging analysis, KPIs) to senior management using tools such as Power BI.
• Lead process improvements, automation and the use of ERP systems.
• Act as the main liaison with Sales, Finance and Customer Service to resolve disputes and improve customer experience.
• Build, mentor and lead a high-performing global AR team.

Required profile

• 7-8 years in Accounts Receivable, with at least 3 years in a global leadership role; minimum 5-6 years, preferred 7-8.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Proven leadership, decision-making, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure in a global, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• ERP systems expertise (Dynamics 365 preferred).
• Advanced Excel and Power BI for reporting and visualization.
• Knowledge of international tax and compliance regulations.
