Android Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to turn designs and wireframes into high‑quality, performant mobile applications. You will work both independently and within a collaborative team to deliver reliable Java code that meets our users' expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, efficient Android code.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable Java components for high‑performance apps.
• Monitor live app performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimise code.
• Write and execute unit and instrumentation tests.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation standards.
• Participate in SCRUM Agile ceremonies and meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong self‑management, a "can‑do" attitude, and ability to work both solo and in a team.

Required skills

• Java (object‑oriented design and programming).
• Android SDK, Eclipse IDE, and common design patterns.
• RESTful API integration.
• Data handling with JSON and XML.
• Google Maps API and Google Play Store publishing process.
• SCRUM Agile workflow.
• Git version control (Bitbucket or similar).
• Android graphics, animation, and UI design.
• Cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Angular 8+ and core JavaScript knowledge (hands‑on or strong understanding).
