Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead JazzWorld’s sales activities across the Lahore region, driving growth in post‑paid subscriptions, mobile‑wallet activations, remittances and retail/franchise business. Reporting to the Regional Sales Head, the role oversees a team of Territory Sales Supervisors and Franchise Service Executives to meet and exceed regional targets.

Key responsibilities

• Visit and assess the market area, building relationships with retailers and franchise owners.
• Mentor and support team members, ensuring timely escalation of issues.
• Design and execute plans to increase sales of handsets, Wi‑Fi devices, remittances and post‑paid numbers.
• Collaborate with Commercial Planning to launch campaigns that boost post‑paid penetration.
• Develop and maintain the distribution and retail network throughout the region.
• Lead franchise business development and enforce company policies for distribution officers.
• Motivate and coach franchise and retail partners on profitability models.
• Achieve monthly KPIs such as post‑paid sales, remittances, cash‑in, MNP, gross ads, Jazz Cash wallets and 4G penetration.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (DFS, Sales Operations, Channel Planning, Technical Teams) and external partners (franchise staff, retailers).

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of sales distribution, channel development and retail management experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an HEC‑recognised institute.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and mentor staff.
• Strong communication, resilience and professional maturity.
• Track record of taking end‑to‑end responsibility for planning, rollout and feedback.
