Asset Integrity & Reliability Engineer (AIM)

About the role

Bureau Veritas is hiring an Asset Integrity & Reliability (AIM) Engineer in its Industry Reporting line, reporting to Syed Hasham Khalid. The role combines technical expertise with a seller-doer approach: developing client relationships, pursuing new business and delivering asset integrity, reliability, inspection and risk-based inspection services across the UAE and Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients and act as a trusted technical advisor on asset integrity, reliability, corrosion, inspection, RBI, FFS, APM and digital transformation.
• Conduct client visits, technical presentations, workshops and engagement meetings, and support account management plans for strategic clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Operations, Commercial and the Technical Center teams.
• Support technical and commercial proposals, bid evaluations and client presentations, and develop local market intelligence.
• Convert client needs into projects and take part in project execution as technical lead, project manager or subject matter expert.
• Promote Asset Integrity, Reliability, Digital Asset Management and Risk-Based Inspection services and contribute to sales, revenue, profitability and growth targets.
• Deliver on contracts within budget and schedule, maintain client satisfaction and repeat business, and improve resource utilization.
• Follow HSE policies, report hazards and incidents, and work in a multicultural team under pressure.

Required profile

• Graduate engineer (B.S. degree or equivalent).
• Fluent English, written and spoken, with good technical writing.
• Average 10 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: API certifications (510, 570, 653, 580, 571), API 579-1 / ASME FFS-1, ASME PCC-2, ASM/ASTM root cause analysis, and AMPP Senior Corrosion Technologist.
