Assistant Manager Academics

About the role

Crescent Model Higher Secondary School (CMS), founded in the early 1960s by the Crescent Educational Trust, is looking for an Assistant Manager Academics. This full-time, on-site role in Lahore supports the academic leadership in planning, implementing and monitoring the school's educational programmes. The postholder works closely with the Senior Manager Academics and academic committees.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate curriculum delivery and assist in managing timetables and exam schedules
• Support teachers with academic planning and resource development
• Track student performance data and prepare academic reports
• Recommend improvements to teaching and assessment methods
• Help organise academic events and trainings
• Ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards
• Interact regularly with faculty, students and parents to address academic concerns

Required profile

• Strong background in educational management, including experience coordinating academic operations and supporting school leadership
• Experience in a school or academic institution, preferably at a supervisory or coordination level
• Master's degree in Education or a related field; formal training in school or academic administration is an advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple tasks and uphold high ethical and professional standards

Required skills

• Knowledge of curriculum development and education, able to align lesson plans, assessments and learning outcomes with institutional standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid analytical skills to interpret academic data and recommend evidence-based improvements
• Proficiency in basic IT tools and educational software for reporting, documentation and classroom support
