About the role

RMT Enterprise, a Pakistani education consultancy founded in 1985 that helps students pursue higher education in Australia, Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, is hiring motivated, professional and career-oriented Student Counsellors for its Karachi and Lahore offices. The counselor provides personalized guidance on academic choices, career options and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized counseling on academic choices, career options and personal development.
• Conduct academic and career assessments to identify students' strengths, interests and areas for improvement.
• Help students set realistic educational and career goals and build action plans to reach them.
• Advise on course selection, career pathways and transitions between academic programs.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions, assessments and progress in line with institutional policy.
• Coordinate with faculty, administration and external resources to support student development and wellbeing.
• Manage several student cases at once, responding promptly to inquiries and applications.
• Prepare and deliver presentations or workshops on academic planning and career readiness.
• Monitor education and employment trends to give up-to-date advice.
• Facilitate referrals to mental health support and other professional services, and ensure confidentiality and ethical standards.
