About the role

The Business Development Specialist will drive growth by identifying new opportunities, generating leads, and building strong relationships with industrial and retail clients in Karachi.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Meet potential customers, present solutions, and prepare proposals.
• Follow up on inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report on business development progress.
• Contribute to long‑term growth plans and strategic positioning of products.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and business performance metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for client interactions and internal collaboration.
• Proven experience in lead generation and managing a sales pipeline.
• Ability to conduct structured market research and assess industry trends.
• Customer service focus with a track record of building long‑term relationships.
• Experience in business development, sales, or account management within industrial, retail, or technical sectors.
• Familiarity with weighing equipment, industrial automation, or POS systems is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Karachi and travel locally for client visits.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
