Cloud Engineer – Design, Deploy & Manage Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, deploy and manage cloud‑based infrastructure for our clients. The role focuses on building efficient, scalable and secure solutions while ensuring high availability and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise cloud environments using best‑practice architectures.
• Monitor performance metrics and maintain secure, resilient and cost‑efficient cloud services.
• Implement cloud security controls such as access management, firewalls, encryption and threat detection.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and evaluate their fit for business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least 5 years of IT experience, with 3 years focused on cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS models.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or within a team.
• Effective communication and project‑management skills.

Required skills

• AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Python and Bash scripting.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Containerisation and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Fundamental networking, security and database concepts in a cloud context.
