Electrician – Industrial Maintenance

About the role

Wärtsilä is seeking a skilled and reliable electrician to support the operation and maintenance of its facilities in Nooriabad, Pakistan. You will work closely with the shift and electrical engineers to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the shift/electrical engineer with daily operation and maintenance tasks.
• Interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to plan wiring layouts.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems, replacing faulty parts as needed.
• Perform repair work on motor windings, electrical equipment and panels in the workshop.
• Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and control/distribution equipment such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels.
• Use test equipment to verify circuit completion and functionality.
• Follow all safety regulations and company QHSE policies.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Hands‑on maintenance experience with internal combustion engines.
• Good cultural knowledge, communication and teamwork skills.
• Awareness of quality, health, safety and environment standards.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
