About the role
The Engineer AWM Power Plant will support Airblue's engine and APU airworthiness management at the Karachi Engineering Complex. The role involves data analysis, technical documentation, and liaison with manufacturers to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
Key responsibilities
- Process and maintain EHM data records and upload findings to the CFM Diagnostics Program.
- Advise maintenance teams on troubleshooting, corrective actions, and monitor APU health and performance.
- Evaluate CFM/Airbus Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins, and liaise with manufacturers on unresolved defects.
- Prepare and issue work scopes for engine and APU shop checks, manage Borescope Inspection (BSI) activities, and maintain technical records per CAMO requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from a PEC‑recognized university.
- Minimum 7 years of airline industry experience, preferably in airworthiness management.
- Experience with CFM56‑5B and LEAP‑1A power plants.
Required skills
- EHM data analysis and CFM Diagnostics usage.
- Engine condition monitoring for CFM56‑5B and LEAP‑1A.
- Borescope Inspection theory and reporting.
- Knowledge of CFM/Airbus Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
