Engineering Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Team Lead who thrives on mentoring talent, driving technical excellence, and delivering large‑scale products that delight millions of users. You will partner with Product Managers and cross‑functional teams to translate business goals into robust, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a high‑performing engineering team, setting realistic goals and fostering continuous improvement.
• Own day‑to‑day project operations, scope definition, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, UX, Infrastructure, CLM and Strategy to ensure top‑quality releases.
• Promote and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Shape the technical vision for the product stream and influence dubizzle’s broader engineering roadmap.
• Hire and retain A‑players, building a culture of empowerment and accountability.
• Monitor team performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive personal development.
• Own business KPIs, acting as a conduit between engineering and product/business functions.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time.
• Strong practical engineering knowledge across the full software lifecycle.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Ability to balance technical ambition with business objectives.
• Deep understanding of the business domain and user‑centric product thinking.
