First Officer - Fixed-Term Limited Contract (UAE/Pakistan)

About the role

A fixed-term limited contract position for a First Officer (co-pilot) to monitor assigned flights in line with the airline's Operational Manual and civil aviation authority regulations, assist the Captain in safety, security and efficiency, record flight data and take control of the flight when instructed.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Pilot Flying or Pilot Monitoring, balancing workload and sharing information systematically
• Fly the aircraft when required, prioritising safety, efficiency and passenger comfort
• Coordinate with the Captain and Dispatch Team before each flight (technical status, route, weather, fuel, weight, roles)
• Complete checks, records and documentation such as take-off data, fuel requirements and ATS flight plans
• Use log books and CFP forms, verify calculations and obtain the Captain's signature
• Check fuel type and supervise fuelling at stations without qualified personnel
• Alert the Captain to irregularities and help the crew respond to safety or security issues
• Perform ground-based safety or security officer duties when directed
• Keep up to date with regulatory requirements and attend recurrent training
• Ensure the Operations Manual is available and complete, and assist with voyage reports and flight logs

Required profile

• ATPL licence, or CPL with frozen ATPL
• Passed technical and psychometric assessment and medical fitness check for co-pilots
• Minimum 1,500 hours of flying, Airbus A320 preferred; low-cost airline experience highly desirable
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, operations, and QA/safety/security/audit procedures
• Ability to handle emergencies, heavy workloads and ad-hoc scenarios

Required skills

• Proficiency in aircraft systems and Microsoft Office
• Good written and verbal communication, technical reporting and presentations
• English is required; Arabic and French are an advantage
