HR Business Partner – South

About the role

The HR Business Partner – South acts as a strategic partner to the regional business leadership in Karachi, translating business priorities into people outcomes that directly impact the P&L. Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnership, you will work closely with CXOs, line managers and employees across the South region.

Key responsibilities

• Partner early with regional leaders during business planning to anticipate workforce needs, skills, capacity and culture.
• Execute core HR frameworks—including learning & development, performance management, salary reviews, headcount planning and employee engagement—in collaboration with Centers of Excellence.
• Visit regional sites regularly to stay connected to business context and employee pulse.
• Own regional employee engagement, diagnose root causes and design high‑impact interventions.
• Translate business strategy into an actionable people plan embedded in the annual business planning process.
• Integrate HR solutions from various COEs into a coherent regional plan and drive end‑to‑end delivery.
• Use workforce data and analytics to surface risks and opportunities before they affect attrition or delivery.
• Monitor succession planning, keeping leadership bench strength and critical capability gaps visible.
• Challenge and help set strategic HR priorities, pushing back when people plans and business plans misalign.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or strategic HR advisor, preferably in a multi‑site or regional environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior leaders and embed HR into business decisions.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret workforce data and translate insights into action.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive employee engagement.
