IT and Digital Skills Trainer

About the role

BrightSpyre is looking for an IT and Digital Skills Trainer to deliver practical, competency-based online training through its Learning Management System (LMS). The training covers computer literacy, digital tools, content creation, digital marketing, e-commerce, freelancing, financial literacy, product research and AI-assisted productivity, following an approved curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned digital skills modules through the LMS and run practical sessions on computer skills, digital platforms and software.
• Train participants in content creation, including photography, video production, Canva and other approved platforms.
• Demonstrate social media marketing, audience engagement, customer acquisition and digital monetisation.
• Guide trainees on e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Daraz, OLX and Facebook Marketplace.
• Help trainees set up freelancing profiles and position themselves professionally online.
• Teach digital financial literacy, including digital accounts, receiving payments and transferring funds.
• Cover product research, identification and development, and AI-assisted tasks such as prompt generation.
• Design assignments, quizzes, demonstrations and assessments, and use real-world examples and case studies.
• Answer trainee queries, give feedback and keep training records, attendance and assessment results.
• Work with the Training Coordinator, other trainers and mentors, and adapt teaching to learner needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Business, Media Studies, E-commerce or a related field, depending on the module.
• At least two years of relevant training or teaching experience.
• Prior experience delivering online training through an LMS is preferred; professional certifications and evidence of practical work are an advantage.
