IT Manager - Hospital

About the role

SAS Enterprises is hiring an IT Manager in Karachi to oversee and manage all IT operations across a hospital, ensuring secure, reliable and well-integrated technology systems that support both medical and administrative functions. The role covers network infrastructure, software systems, cybersecurity, server management and supervision of IT staff or outsourced providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all IT operations, including network infrastructure and LAN, WAN, WiFi and VPN setups
• Lead planning and rollout of hospital software systems and ensure integration of medical and non-medical software
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting across departments
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, installation and maintenance through Supply Chain
• Monitor system performance and uptime of critical services
• Implement cybersecurity measures and ensure data privacy and protection compliance
• Maintain inventory of IT assets, licenses and warranties
• Train and support staff on new technologies and IT best practices
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures and disaster recovery plans
• Supervise IT staff or outsourced service providers, and oversee server management, backups and recovery of medical records
• Stay updated on healthcare technology trends and recommend upgrades
• Support Softronic and HR software, manage the IT desk, integrate email and communication systems, and supervise the CCTV surveillance section
