IT Service Desk Specialist

About the role

PwC is seeking an IT Service Desk Specialist to join its Internal Firm Services team in Karachi. You will support core business functions by deploying, managing, and troubleshooting the technology that enables staff to work efficiently and deliver high‑quality services to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for Windows, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and related applications.
• Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and network issues, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, and Wi‑Fi.
• Handle tickets using ServiceNow and document resolutions.
• Support remote sessions with RDP, Quick Assist, and other tools.
• Maintain inventory, asset records, and lifecycle processes for IT equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, replacements, and SLA compliance.
• Assist with IT budgeting, procurement approvals, and audit preparation.

Required profile

• Strong technical aptitude with experience in desktop and network support.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under ambiguous conditions.
• Effective communication with internal teams and external vendors.
