Lead, Country Fleet Health

About the role

The Lead, Country Fleet Health is responsible for overseeing the health, efficiency and scalability of foodpanda's rider fleet in Pakistan. This senior role balances strategic planning with hands‑on operational execution to ensure rider supply matches demand while maintaining high performance, compliance and rider experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute data‑driven rider recruitment strategies to meet fleet size targets aligned with order demand.
• Oversee onboarding, training and first‑week experience to improve early‑stage retention.
• Implement and localise performance frameworks, monitor KPIs, SLAs and productivity benchmarks, and enforce compliance and safety standards.
• Establish rider support mechanisms outside active shifts and act as escalation point for operational issues.
• Manage rider payroll preparation, validation and timely payouts in partnership with finance and product teams.
• Drive fleet health metrics such as activation, utilization, retention and reactivation, and launch incentives or campaigns to address supply‑demand gaps.
• Collaborate with regional and central teams, as well as Product, Finance and Operations, to align on global fleet strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading large‑scale rider or delivery fleet operations.
• Strong strategic planning abilities combined with operational execution skills.
• Ability to analyse operational data, identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration capabilities.
