Level 1 System Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Level 1 System Support Engineer to be the first point of contact for technical issues within our fast‑growing BPO environment. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software and network problems, providing timely assistance to users and escalating more complex incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, email and collaboration tools, and user applications.
• Handle support requests via calls, emails, walk‑ins and ticketing system.
• Install, configure and maintain basic network devices, LAN/Wi‑Fi, IP settings and VPN connections.
• Create user accounts, provision access and manage device setups.
• Document incidents, resolutions and maintain IT asset logs.
• Follow IT security policies, apply updates and security patches.
• Escalate recurring or high‑severity issues to Level 2/3 teams.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT support or help‑desk (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
