Online CFA Level I Tutor (IGCSE, AS/A-Level)

About the role

Tutoronics is an online tutoring platform connecting students with qualified tutors for personalised academic support. It is looking for part-time, remote CFA Level I tutors to help candidates prepare for the Chartered Financial Analyst Level I exam through structured lessons, concept-based learning and exam-focused practice. Candidates can also teach IGCSE, AS Level and A Level.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, structured online CFA Level I preparation sessions
• Explain financial concepts, theories, calculations and analytical methods clearly
• Cover the CFA Level I curriculum: Ethics and Professional Standards, Quantitative Methods, Economics, Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Issuers, Equity Investments, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Alternative Investments, Portfolio Management
• Prepare lesson plans, revision notes, practice questions and mock exams
• Teach exam strategies, time management and question-solving techniques
• Assess progress, identify knowledge gaps and give constructive feedback
• Conduct online classes using Google Meet, Zoom, digital whiteboards and screen sharing

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of online tutoring or relevant teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of the CFA Level I curriculum and exam structure; previous CFA tutoring experience highly preferred
• CFA charterholder status or having passed CFA Level I or higher preferred
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to explain numerical problems clearly
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable environment for online teaching

Required skills

• Proficiency with online teaching tools such as Google Meet, Zoom, digital whiteboards and screen sharing
• Understanding of financial analysis, accounting, economics, quantitative methods and investment concepts
