About the role

We are looking for an Operations professional to join DSV’s global transport and logistics team. The role focuses on coordinating shipment arrivals, handling customs documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with client supply‑chain teams for shipment arrivals.
• Review pre‑alerts and verify shipment documents required for customs clearance.
• Ensure advance GD filing for shipments and share assessed GD when needed.
• Review SOPs and prepare requirements according to SOP guidelines.
• Check ETA, quotes and liaise with forwarders, carriers, custodians and billing parties.
• Share checklists with clients, obtain approvals and manage GD filing.
• Confirm customs duties are paid by the client or DSV finance under DDP terms.
• Monitor OOC status and plan shipment releases.
• Raise billing instructions, issue invoices and courier complete document sets to consignees.
• Scan post‑clearance documents into E‑Doc and manage client PD accounts.
• Post cost and revenue entries in EDI and follow up for account approvals.
• Courier documents with debit notes to customers and maintain POD files.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with at least 3 years of experience in a similar logistics operations role.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team.

Required skills

• EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) handling.
