Product Manager – Commercial Vehicle

About the role

The Product Manager – Commercial Vehicle will design, launch and manage financing solutions for trucks, buses, pickups and other commercial transport vehicles. You will shape products that match the cash‑flow patterns of transport operators while driving portfolio growth and controlling residual‑value risk.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch financing products for new and used commercial vehicles, including tailored structures such as deferred payments, seasonal balloon payments and step‑down profit rates.
• Conduct market research on competitor pricing, residual values and vehicle depreciation trends.
• Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Recovery and Asset Management teams to build underwriting models, manage repossessions, remarketing and residual‑value realization.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers, dealerships and transport associations to generate business.
• Monitor portfolio performance – delinquencies, ticket size, repossessions and product yield – and optimise pricing and risk‑based fees.
• Drive digitalisation of the application, valuation, document collection and disbursement processes to reduce turnaround time.
• Provide branch training on commercial vehicle segmentation, risk assessment and product features, and develop certification programmes.
• Ensure compliance with SBP Prudential Regulations for auto finance and Islamic financing structures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics from an HEC‑recognised university.
• 3–5 years of experience in product management, auto finance or commercial lending within a bank or leasing company.
• Prior exposure to commercial vehicle financing or asset‑backed lending.
• Understanding of vehicle registration, hypothecation and repossession processes.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for portfolio MIS, vintage analysis and delinquency tracking.
