Senior Associate I - Risk & Quality

About the role

PwC A.F. Ferguson & Co. is hiring a Senior Associate I in Risk & Quality. The team supports internal teams in mitigating and controlling client engagement risks, and focuses on ISQM 1 compliance, the international standard for quality management. The associate assesses risks, oversees ongoing monitoring controls and prepares the firm for regulatory and network reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Assess risks and oversee the firm's ongoing monitoring controls for ISQM 1 compliance
• Analyze large volumes of data from monitoring activities, using data-driven dashboards to monitor compliance and identify trends
• Conduct root cause analyses to get to the core of quality deficiencies
• Maintain and prepare data for regulatory inspections, keeping records accurate and complete
• Support the firm's quality objectives and help ensure adherence to professional standards

Required profile

• Part Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Ability to carry out risk assessments
• Certification and demonstrated experience in data analytics
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders
