Senior Associate (T2) - Corporate Loans (Working Capital & Trade Finance)

About the role

Mashreq Global Network Pakistan is hiring a Senior Associate (T2) for its corporate loans business, covering Working Capital and Trade Finance facilities. The role ensures that disbursement, settlement, amendments, reconciliation, testing and monitoring are done on time and without error, following agreed processes and SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Product Program, Process Notes, SOPs, OPM, CPM and ADMs, and ensure no gaps in understanding of Wholesale Credit, Supply Chain and Factoring policies.
• Review credit proposals and agreements at disbursement against the client's drawdown request, and prepare repayment schedules, fees, charges, VAT, interest, profit, penalties and charity.
• Accrue income and charges correctly using accounting standards and APPM, and make SWIFT and UAEFTS payments without error.
• Complete operating system UATs, track post-disbursement credit terms and report breaches, and coordinate exceptions with stakeholders until resolved.
• Perform and review daily reconciliation of activities, publish the status daily, keep accounts balanced across systems and escalate delays to the manager.
• Share errors and knowledge gaps with the line manager, ensure compliance and EDD screening is accurate, and follow up open tasks until completion.
• Build a controlled mechanism to keep activities timely and error-free, with no revenue leakage and no pending Nostro/Vostro or internal reconciliation entries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4-7 years of experience in corporate working capital and trade finance loans.
• Experience with system UATs, BRD preparation and meeting deadlines.
• Good knowledge of trade documents and trade cycle, and experience reviewing credit proposals and performing EDD and compliance screening.
• Strong follow-up skills, good communication and ability to work under pressure as a team player.

Required skills

• Banking platforms: CBS/Flex, ELCM, SWIFT, UAEFTS, EDMS, LLOYDs, FIRCO, SCF/IMX/Kastle.
• Complex reconciliations between banking systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
