SOC Analyst

About the role

The SOC Analyst monitors, analyzes and triages security alerts through security monitoring solutions such as SIEM, EDR, XDR, NDR, threat intelligence and SOAR. The role supports the identification and reporting of potential security incidents according to defined SLAs and coordinates with relevant teams to help resolve incidents and improve alert quality.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM, EDR, NDR and SOAR
• Analyze logs and triage alerts to identify potential security incidents
• Report alerts and incidents in line with service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Coordinate with teams to support investigation and resolution of incidents
• Work with SOC solution administrators to tune alerts and reduce false positives

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Security from a HEC-recognized university
• At least 1 year of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Experience operating and managing SOC solutions (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, threat intelligence, case management)
• Experience in log analysis and alert triage
• Relevant professional certifications are preferred
