US Accounting & Bookkeeping Manager

About the role

QF Network is looking for an experienced US Accounting & Bookkeeping Manager to lead multi‑industry bookkeeping operations for US clients from our Karachi office. The role requires deep technical expertise in full‑cycle US bookkeeping, complex clean‑up projects, and team supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping across diverse US industries such as construction, real estate, restaurants, e‑commerce, healthcare and professional services.
• Lead complex book cleanup and catch‑up projects, correcting historical errors, chart of accounts issues and reconciliation problems.
• Conduct internal bookkeeping audits, quality control checks and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• Supervise and mentor bookkeeping teams, assign client portfolios, review deliverables and monitor deadlines.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing, client billing, invoicing, AR/AP and financial reporting workflows.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience in full‑cycle US bookkeeping across multiple industries and states.
• Proven track record of leading bookkeeping teams and handling complex clean‑up or audit projects.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial statements, month‑end closing and multi‑state accounting requirements.
• Excellent English communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards.
