Accounts Payable Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our Finance & Accounts team. The role involves full ownership of the accounts payable and provident fund functions across the group’s entities, requiring strong technical expertise and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end purchase‑to‑pay cycle, including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation.
• Oversee provident fund administration, ensuring timely contributions and accurate member records.
• Support month‑end close activities, posting accruals, provisions, and reconciling balance‑sheet accounts.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, reconcile them with the books, and serve as the finance point of contact for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with GST, withholding tax, and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop the accounts payable and provident fund team, enforce policies, and drive process automation.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA member with 7–8 years of progressive experience in accounts payable and general accounting.
• Proven leadership and team‑building abilities in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles, purchase‑to‑pay cycle, and fund accounting.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential information.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Practical experience with an ERP system.
• Solid knowledge of Pakistan tax requirements, including GST and withholding tax.
• Understanding of IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards.
