Area Manager – Sargodha

About the role

PMI is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead sales and distribution efforts in Sargodha. You will drive market share growth by analysing market conditions, coordinating with third‑party partners and EZDs, and implementing effective distribution strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans to achieve shipment volumes, in‑market sales and secondary sales targets.
• Implement distribution strategy, ensuring coverage, hit rate and call frequency metrics are met.
• Mentor distributors and DSRs on incentive programs, target incentives and performance‑based pay.
• Build and maintain relationships with trade partners, identify high‑potential POS and wholesalers, and support contractual negotiations.
• Lead third‑party merchandising teams and oversee point‑of‑sale material maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with PMI policies, local laws and marketing codes.
• Collect and update market data, retail dynamics and competitor intelligence to inform strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum BBA degree from a reputable institute.
• 3‑5 years of field sales experience, preferably in FMCG or related sectors.
• Strong analytical ability to assess market situations.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and distribution targets.
