Business Development Executive

About the role

EduApply is seeking a technically minded Business Development Executive to acquire new university clients across Europe for its Student Application Management System. You will work from our Islamabad office, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact admissions, international office, and IT teams at European universities.
• Conduct product demos, explain system integration, data flow, and security.
• Answer technical questions about APIs, SIS/CRM integration, hosting, and GDPR compliance, involving engineers when needed.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including proposals, RFPs, and negotiations.
• Maintain CRM pipeline, report on targets, and relay client feedback to the product team.

Required profile

• 2+ years of B2B SaaS sales or business development experience, preferably in EdTech.
• Strong technical understanding of web‑based software, databases, integrations, and APIs.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional European language is a plus.
• Comfortable with cold outreach and working European time zones.
• Self‑driven, target‑oriented, and able to explain technical concepts in plain language.
