Central Engineering Manager

About the role

Provide centralized engineering support across the factory, ensuring safe, reliable, compliant and cost‑effective operation of plant equipment, utilities and infrastructure. Drive equipment reliability, maintenance excellence, technical standards, improvement projects and engineering capability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead preventive and predictive maintenance programmes for critical assets, analyse failures and implement root‑cause corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to production and engineering teams, coordinate activities across mechanical, electrical, utilities, refrigeration and infrastructure disciplines.
• Support utilities optimisation, identify energy and water efficiency opportunities and assess future infrastructure needs.
• Manage technical scopes, specifications, cost estimates and engineering solutions for improvement and CAPEX projects, including vendor evaluation and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, GMP, food‑safety and statutory requirements, and promote safe engineering practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of engineering/maintenance experience in FMCG, food, pharmaceutical or process manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance and reliability engineering, industrial utilities, projects and equipment troubleshooting.
