Chief Human Resources Officer

About the role

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will lead the organization’s human capital strategy from Islamabad, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and fostering a high‑performance culture. This senior executive role reports to the executive leadership team and drives employee engagement, talent development, and organizational transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support organizational goals.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and organizational development.
• Drive employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and workplace culture initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulatory requirements, and HR best practices.
• Provide strategic HR advice to executive leadership and support change‑management efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of HR strategy, talent management, organizational development, and labor legislation.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and change‑management capabilities.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
