Customer Service Representative (Chat Support)

About the role

GenWeather is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Customer Service Representative to manage chat, email and in‑app queries. The role focuses on delivering timely, accurate and empathetic support to users of the weather intelligence platform.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer queries via live chat, email and in‑app messaging.
• Troubleshoot user issues and guide customers through platform features.
• Escalate technical or complex problems to the appropriate teams.
• Document interactions, track common concerns and share insights to improve product usability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and operations teams to ensure consistent high‑quality support.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and support skills with clear communication.
• Prior experience in a client‑facing role such as Customer Service Representative.
• Excellent written English and ability to manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
• Comfort with web and mobile applications and quick learning of new tools.
• Problem‑solving ability, attention to detail and calm approach under pressure.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Islamabad on a full‑time schedule.
• Experience in tech, SaaS or data‑focused companies and knowledge of weather or climate concepts is a plus.
