Deputy Manager - Compliance

About the role

IGI Life Insurance Limited, a Packages Group company and a long-established public limited company listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, is hiring a Deputy Manager - Compliance. The role covers the implementation and maintenance of compliance, AML and sanctions programmes, and supports regulatory reporting and inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Compliance Monitoring, Compliance Manual, AML and Sanctions programmes, systems and controls in line with applicable regulations.
• Review corporate and individual KYC/AML documentation, identify gaps and support corrective action plans.
• Submit Targeted Financial Sanctions to the SECP, file STRs/CTRs and prepare CRS reports for the AEOI portal.
• Assist in identifying potential compliance vulnerabilities and develop corrective action plans.
• Manage regulatory inquiries, liaise with regulators, monitor regulatory updates and communicate relevant changes to employees.

Required profile

• Master's degree in any discipline, preferably Finance.
• At least 3 years of compliance and AML experience within a financial institution.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations.
• Working knowledge of CRS and FATCA.
