Senior Accounts Manager - Financial Operations Lead

About the role

Unze London is looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to lead its accounting operations in Lahore. The role oversees accounts payable and receivable, cash flow management and overall financial control, and acts as the head of a finance team of three. It suits a seasoned professional with 12 to 15 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with variance analysis and commentary, using dashboard formats for management decisions.
• Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting, monitor departmental performance against budgets and report variances to senior management.
• Plan and oversee cash flow, manage investments and implement controls to minimise financial risks.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments for payroll, suppliers and operations, and controlling credit and collections.
• Monitor manufacturing expenses and other costs, conduct cost analysis and lead cost-saving initiatives.
• Handle tax planning, filing and compliance with federal, provincial and local tax rules, and respond to tax notices.
• Maintain internal audit controls and accounting policies, coordinate audits with internal and external teams and manage financial risks.
• Run all financial processes and reporting in SAP Business One, including month-end closing.
• Lead and develop the finance team of three, set policies and procedures and engage in company strategy with senior management, banks and auditors.

Required profile

• 12 to 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• CMA, ACMA, ACCA or CA qualification.
• Strong cost management, decision-making, negotiation and communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP Business One for financial reporting and month-end closing.
