Electrical Officer – FMCG Packaging Machinery

About the role

Super Crisp is hiring an Electrical Officer in Lahore within its Engineering & Maintenance department, reporting to the Maintenance Manager or Engineering Manager. The role covers maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, machinery and equipment, including electric motors, switchgear, generators and VFDs, and overseeing preventive maintenance and installation of FMCG packaging machines such as VFFS units.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the electric distribution network and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems, including VFFS packaging machines (ISHIDA and Wolf) and local systems.
• Diagnose and repair electric motors, switchgear, generators and VFD drives, and troubleshoot major system failures.
• Carry out preventive and planned maintenance on packaging machines and ensure air conditioning systems operate correctly.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of FMCG machinery and equipment, adhering to safety and technical standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, equipment performance and repairs, and report equipment status and maintenance needs to supervisors.

Required profile

• B-Tech or D.A.E in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in an FMCG environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, in production and maintenance areas.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electric motors, switchgear, generators and VFD drives.
• In-depth knowledge of VFFS (ISHIDA and Wolf) packaging machines.
• Knowledge of air conditioning systems operation and maintenance.
