About the role

Arcadian Cafe, a leading casual fine‑dining brand in Lahore, is seeking a Head Chef to lead kitchen operations across its upscale locations. This full‑time, on‑site role combines culinary creativity with strong leadership to deliver consistent, high‑quality Asian fusion and continental dishes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, update, and standardise menus aligned with the brand’s Asian fusion and continental concept.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Manage, train, and schedule kitchen staff, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with senior management on cost control, inventory management, and supplier relations.
• Monitor kitchen performance during service and address operational issues promptly.
• Support service during peak hours and contribute to guest satisfaction through culinary leadership.

Required profile

• Strong culinary expertise in Asian fusion and continental cuisine.
• Proven experience in menu development, recipe standardisation, and high‑volume upscale or casual fine‑dining environments.
• Demonstrated kitchen leadership, staff training, and performance supervision.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, inventory management, and cost control.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with front‑of‑house teams and senior management.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Lahore with flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Formal culinary education or professional chef certification preferred; relevant on‑the‑job experience considered.
