HR Generalist

About the role

A proactive, organised and accountable HR Generalist is sought to own the day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee coordination and HR administration. This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage HR processes independently and keep hiring and people operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment and talent acquisition: manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical posts, source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards and recruitment platforms, screen CVs, run initial HR interviews and coordinate technical and management interviews
• Maintain an active recruitment pipeline, prepare offer letters, coordinate onboarding and follow up until candidates join
• Employee relations: act as first point of contact for routine queries, manage attendance, leave requests and employee records, and handle onboarding, offboarding and exit documentation
• HR administration: keep accurate employee files, contracts, attendance and leave records, assist with monthly payroll preparation, track contracts, probation and performance review deadlines, and handle confidential information responsibly
• HR operations: set up recruitment trackers and HR workflows, give regular updates on recruitment progress and open positions, and use the company's tools such as Hubstaff and internal project platforms

Required profile

• 2-5 years of HR Generalist, HR Executive or HR Operations experience
• Demonstrated experience managing recruitment from sourcing through onboarding
• Experience recruiting technical roles, especially software engineers, QA engineers and other IT professionals, is highly preferred
• Familiarity with HR documentation, payroll coordination, attendance management and employment processes in Pakistan
• Comfortable working with remote teams and coordinating interviews around agreed team availability
